Mental health services for children and young people

More funding has been provided for mental health services for children and young people following a national review.

In Bucks we have developed a transformation plan, which will use this extra funding to enhance services. The plan outlines what we want to do with Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) for the next five years. We will continue to review the plan and take into account any emerging needs over that period.

The commissioners and Bucks CAMHS service, provided by Oxford Health Foundation Trust in partnership with Barnados and BEAT, are working together to ensure better access to mental health support for Children and Young People in Bucks.
