Mental health services for children and young people

Five year transformation plan

In August 2015, NHS England asked all NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) in England to develop a local five year plan for the transformation of services that support children and young people’s emotional health and wellbeing, including Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).

In Buckinghamshire we have developed a transformation plan, which will use this extra funding to enhance services. The plan outlines what we want to do with Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) for the next five years. We will continue to review the plan and take into account any emerging needs over that period.

The commissioners and Bucks CAMHS service, provided by Oxford Health Foundation Trust in partnership with Barnados and BEAT, are working together to ensure better access to mental health support for Children and Young People in Bucks.

There have been lots of changes to services and organisations over recent months. If you have any questions or queries about what is available to you, please contact:
