Mental health problems affect people from all parts of society, regardless of age, race or gender.
We commission services for those with needs varying from mild to severe mental health and learning disabilities. We intend to continue investment in mental health services, and to ensure that there is parity of esteem: that mental health is valued equally with physical health.
- Mental Health services are provided by Oxford Health. These include Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT – part of Healthy Minds Bucks) for those with depression and anxiety disorders – see Managing Anxiety & Depression
- Learning Disability Services are provided by Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust.
