Dietary Advice

A healthy diet can be pretty simple.  All the nutrients you need can be found in a diet containing:

  • starchy foods such as potatoes, bread, rice and pasta
  • plenty of fruit and vegetables (at least 5 a day)
  • some protein-rich foods such as meat, fish and lentils
  • some milk and dairy foods
  • not too much fat, salt or sugar
